LK Ben­nett ‘on brink of collapse’ as it looks to appoint administrators

British fashion brand LK Bennett has moved to appoint administrators for a second time in six years after failing to secure new investment, putting about 280 jobs at risk as the once-global retailer, now reduced to nine stores and 13 concessions, reported a £3.5 million loss on £42.1 million of turnover in its latest accounts.
