London Irish: Former F1 team boss Eddie Jordan leads consortium to buy rugby club

Strangford Ellis, a consortium led by former Formula 1 team owner Eddie Jordan, has bought London Irish 20 months after the rugby club entered administration. More from Sky Sports.

Lee Manning and Simon Jagger of Evelyn Partners are the joint administrators. A team from Weightmans including Paul Raftery, Michael Murphy, Charles Boyne, Kiri Hutton and John Kemp advised Strangford Ellis on the acquisition.
