Major Welsh employer enters administration with hundreds of jobs lost

Consumer Energy Solutions, owned by City Energy Group, has announced it will be entering administration and has ceased trading with immediate effect, resulting in the loss of 295 jobs across its Swansea and Treorchy operations following the end of the UK government’s ECO4 energy efficiency scheme.
