In Memoriam - Steve Parker

It is with great sadness that the Opus Business Advisory Group has to announce the loss of one of its founding Partners, Steve Parker, who has passed away unexpectedly.

Steve was one of the genuinely good guys – a top-class IP, a talented businessman, a kind and caring person and an inspiration to all who had the privilege to work with him. He was one of the profession’s real characters and will be greatly missed by all of his colleagues at Opus and the many others in and around the insolvency world who knew him.

Steve had over 40 years corporate restructuring and insolvency experience, mainly serving the SME sector. He founded Opus in 2013 along with Trevor Binyon, Tim Dolder, Jo Rolls and Colin Wilson.

Steve had a simple working ethos; he was there to help and support financially troubled businesses and individuals and to get the best possible outcome, no matter how difficult that might turn out to be.
