Michelle Mone-linked PPE firm liquidated and unlikely to repay £148m

The UK government is unlikely to recover most of the £148 million it is owed after PPE Medpro, linked to Michelle Mone through her husband Douglas Barrowman, was ordered into liquidation following a High Court finding that it supplied defective pandemic gowns, leaving only about £600,000 for unsecured creditors including the Department of Health and Social Care.
