Modpods International - Administration
Modpods International, a Coventry modular housebuilder, entered administration on 12 August.
The company cited issues and costs associated with the prolonged relocation of its trading premises, as well as a client dispute and challenging trading conditions, as key factors in its insolvency.
A pre-administration sale process was conducted but no going concern sale was able to be achieved. On 11 July, all 122 employees were made redundant.
Paul Ellison and Christopher Errington of KRE Corporate Recovery were appointed as joint administrators and have now completed a pre-pack sale of the company’s assets to HPG Developments. Birmingham City Council and Fse Meif LP acting by its general partner
Fse Meif GP have registered charges against the company.
