Moves and Promotions — Week of 14 July, 2025

After more than two decades of experience across forensic investigations, cross-border insolvency, and fraud recovery, Russ Parkin has been promoted to Partner in Grant Thornton’s Insolvency and Asset Recovery team. Read more.

At Begbies Traynor Group, two senior team members have been promoted. Lee Spencer, based in London and active in corporate restructuring and contentious insolvency work, has been promoted to Senior Insolvency Manager. Over in Medway, Ben Jarvis Parsons, who has led numerous corporate appointments and guided SMEs through complex restructuring processes, has been promoted to the same role.

Louis McConkey, formerly with KPMG Ireland, has joined FTI Consulting in London as a Senior Consultant in the firm’s Corporate Finance & Restructuring practice.

Adam Paxton, previously at PKF Smith Cooper, has joined LBK Insolvency Solutions as a Senior Insolvency Administrator.

Catherine Hammerson-Jones has joined Lewis Silkin’s Dispute Resolution team as a Partner in its London office. She was previously with Rosenblatt. Read more.
