Nolte Möbel - Administration

Nolte Möbel, the UK arm of German bedroom furniture manufacturer Nolte Möbel, entered administration on 2 May, with Nick Cusack and Paul Bailey of Bailey Ahmad appointed as joint administrators.

In 2020, Nolte Möbel split from kitchen supplier Nolte Group, which is not impacted by the administration. Nolte Möbel reportedly struggled in the wake of the split, which happened to coincide with the COVID-19 pandemic. The company’s German parent has been subject to insolvency proceedings since November 2023 but ultimately announced its closure last month.

The administrators are working closely with relevant parties to ensure that current orders are fulfilled where possible.

Barclays Bank has a registered charge against the company.
