NRS UK – administration

NRS UK, a Livingston-based leading provider of construction, civil engineering and power solutions services to a wide range of blue chip private and public sector clients, with recent Scottish projects including the St Andrews Cross substation in Glasgow and the Seagreen Offshore wind farm off the Angus coast, entered administration on 7 September. The business has been exposed to spiralling supply chain costs in 2022, magnified by severe losses stemming from fixed price contracts, resulting in recent unsustainable cash flow and financial problems. 45 of the company’s 47 employees have been made redundant, with 2 retained to assist with the administration process. Michelle Elliot and Stuart Robb of FRP Advisory were appointed joint administrators.
