Poundstretcher secures court approval for restructuring plan

The High Court has also sanctioned Poundstretcher’s creditor-backed restructuring plan, allowing the retailer to avoid administration, keep more than 300 stores and approximately 3,000 jobs, and address an immediate funding shortfall through landlord rent reductions, fresh store investment and changes to its product offering.
