Premier Cars Bangor Limited – liquidation

Premier Cars Bangor Limited, a major North Wales taxi firm, entered creditors’ voluntary liquidation on 31 August, listing over £290,000 in liabilities, including over £180,000 to HMRC. The company cited the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as recent legislative changes regarding self-employed drivers, as the primary factors behind its insolvency. No drivers have been made redundant, however, as new venture Premier Group North Wales will employ the company’s 45 drivers. Peter Harold of Bespoke Insolvency Solutions was appointed liquidator.
