Pro-Motion Hire Limited – administration

Pro-Motion Hire Limited, a Newton Heath-based company specialising in the hire of camera and lighting equipment to firms operating across the creative industries, entered administration on 2 February, after suffering a significant reduction in trade during 2020 as a direct result of the COVID pandemic and a slow recovery as lockdowns were lifted. Shortly after their appointment, Joint Administrators Andrew Watling and Duncan Beat of Quantuma completed the sale of the business to London-based Pixipixel Rental, saving 28 of 30 jobs. Azule Limited and National Westminster Bank PLC each has a registered charge against the company.
