PT Hire Limited - Administration

PT Hire Limited, a Derbyshire-based truck and trailer rental business, entered administration on 7 October.

The company has a fleet of around 460 trucks and offered its services across the UK, including a nationwide support network which provided a fast response to breakdowns on the road.

Richard Bloomfield, Ian Corfield and Nathan Jones of FRP Advisory were appointed joint administrators and said that mechanical issues had impacted a substantial proportion of the fleet.

HSBC Bank, Aldermore Bank, Hampshire Trust Bank, Paragon Business Finance, Volkswagen Financial Services and Santander Asset Finance each have at least one registered charge against the company.
