Tom Astle, James Maltby and Sara Segura of Hogan Lovells explain that two 2024 rulings clarified that repaid lenders are no longer “secured creditors” whose consent is required to extend an administration, with the Insolvency Service’s June 2025 Dear IP confirming a new, context-specific approach that detaches creditor status once debts are fully paid.
