Readie administration pays just £500k to HMRC

The administrators of Readie Construction have paid HMRC £500,000 against claims exceeding £8 million, while unsecured creditors owed about £24.8 million are still expected to receive nothing after a £4.8 million intercompany receivable from dissolved parent Readie Management proved unrecoverable and administration costs rose above initial estimates.
