Retail and hospitality accounts for 30 per cent of November insolvencies, figures show

UK data released by the Insolvency Service shows that wholesale, retail and hospitality businesses accounted for 30% of all company insolvencies in the year to November 2025, underlining continued strain on the high street even as overall monthly liquidations eased slightly ahead of the crucial Christmas trading period.
