Salmo Group buys Bleiker’s Smokehouse out of administration

Bleiker’s Smokehouse, an award-winning smoked salmon supplier in Leeming Bar which collapsed into administration with the loss of 86 jobs amid fraud investigations related to concerns about their country of origin claims, has been rescued by seafood specialist, The Salmo Group. Martyn Pullin and Phil Pearce of FRP were appointed as joint administrators to the business on 29 April.
