Scotpharm (MNA) Limited and MSLNA Healthcare Limited enter administration

Scotpharm (MNA) Limited and MSLNA Healthcare Limited, the holding companies behind 22 pharmacies across east central Scotland, entered administration on 7 September, with James Stephen, Danny Dartnaill and Benjamin Peterson of BDO appointed joint administrators.

Pharmacy Magazine reported that the groups employ around 420 people across their pharmacies and central functions, while the operating subsidiaries have not entered administration and continue to trade as normal. The outlet also reported that the administrators have secured funding to support continued trading and pay suppliers, and will now seek to sell the pharmacies as going concerns.
