Scottish cleaning franchise enters administration; 96 jobs transferred

TGC Aberdeen West Limited, a regional franchise within the Tidy Clean Green network, has entered administration, with Shona Campbell of Henderson Loggie appointed as administrator on 13 April 2026 and all 96 employees transferred to the wider group in a move that preserved jobs and maintained customer contracts.
The company formed part of the Tidy Clean Green network, which operates through a franchise model across Scotland. Aberdeen West was established as a separate limited company responsible for employing its own staff and managing its own accounts, reflecting a ring-fenced regional structure commonly used in service-sector franchise businesses.
Following the appointment, all 96 employees were retained within the family-owned parent group under a TUPE transfer, according to statements attributed to the business. The move appears to have been designed to secure workforce continuity and avoid disruption to active cleaning and facilities management contracts.
The wider group said its remaining six Scottish franchises continue to trade and that the business employs more than 550 people overall. Operations are understood to span Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow & West, Forth Valley, Tayside, and Highlands and Moray, serving customers in sectors including offices, education, retail, healthcare and manufacturing.
