Shade Limited – administration

Shade Limited, an online company trading as Shade Station, which sells designer sunglasses and prescription glasses, and connected adventure sports brand Northcore Limited, entered administration on 30 November, after being acquired by IFG SPP Ltd (IFG) last year. IFG reportedly owes £13.7 to Hawking PLC, which has a security interest in IFG’s shares in Shade Limited and Northcore Limited. The appointments were reportedly made to protect Hawking’s secured interests and its ability to recover IFG’s indebtedness to Hawking. Graham Bushby, Nick Edwards and Matthew Haw of RSM were appointed joint administrators.
