Subcontractors to take £5m hit in Ardmore administration

Ardmore Construction Group entered administration after a £14.9 million building liability order judgment in favour of Crest Nicholson, with BTG saying the appointment was made to protect group assets before enforcement, while unsecured creditors are owed about £10.6 million, including £5.1 million to subcontractors and £1.8 million to 132 former employees, with no recovery currently expected for the unsecured class.
