Surepak Limited - Administration
Surepak Limited, a Nottinghamshire packaging firm, entered administration on 12 February after being impacted by the increase in electricity costs and the loss of two major contracts which significantly reduced turnover.
Surepak had been subject to a winding-up petition brought by creditor Flint Ink, and said the decision to enter administration was made to protect the business and employees from the winding-up petition.
Dean Nelson and Nicholas Lee of PKF Smith Cooper were appointed as joint administrators and are conducting an accelerated sale process while the company continues to trade.
Bibby Financial Services and various HSBC Bank entities have registered charges against the company.
