TalkTalk races to sell consumer and broadband arms as administration looms

TalkTalk is racing to sell its consumer business to Opus Broadband for around £100 million and its wholesale arm PXC to Octopus Investments as the debt-laden telecoms group seeks to avoid administration, with its owners facing a potential write-off of approximately £1 billion of debt.
