TG Jones backs down from clash with landlords in bid to save stores

TG Jones has secured British Land’s withdrawal of its opposition to the former WH Smith high street business’s restructuring plan after offering to repay certain rent reductions after three years, provide security and share future earnings, although other landlords continue to resist proposals involving about 150 store closures and cuts to rents at profitable locations.
