Thames Water ‘close to deal that would spare it new Ofwat fines until 2030

Creditors of Thames Water are reportedly close to agreeing undertakings with Ofwat that would suspend new regulatory fines until 2030 in exchange for committed investment and performance improvements, as part of efforts to stabilise the heavily indebted utility and avoid temporary renationalisation.
