The Plumbing Doctor Ltd – liquidation

The Plumbing Doctor Ltd, a Plymouth plumbing business, entered liquidation on 4 October. The Company had just invested a significant amount of cash in opening a new showroom in Plymouth when the pandemic hit the UK. The business was not able to receive grants during the pandemic and had to rely on bank loans, which it was ultimately not able to repay. The Company’s statement of affairs shows that the Company owes approximately £260,000 to its creditors, including approximately £150,000 to Funding Circle. David Kirk and Daniel Jeeves of Kirks were appointed as Joint Liquidators.
