Thomas Storey Fabrications Group Limited - Administration

Thomas Storey Fabrications Group Limited, a Manchester-headquartered manufacturer of steel fabricated products, has been acquired out of administration by Thomas Storey Fabrication Ltd, part of the TAL Engineering Group, via a pre-pack deal.
The company was founded nearly a century ago and gained fame for making the "Bailey Bridge" system, a product used by the Allies during World War II.
Chris Ratten and Gareth Harris of RSM UK were appointed joint administrators on 5 June after the company suffered from decreased demand, supply chain challenges and increasing overhead costs.
Immediately following their appointment, the joint administrators completed the sale to Thomas Storey Fabrication, saving over 100 jobs.
Various HSBC entities have registered charges against the company.
