Trilogy Logistics acquires Circle Express in pre-pack administration, preserving 158 Jobs

Trilogy Logistics Ltd. has acquired the business and assets of Circle Express Ltd. through a pre-pack administration, securing all 158 jobs at the UK logistics firm and ensuring uninterrupted operations ahead of the Christmas period.

Circle Express, a UK logistics company specialising in next-day and same-day delivery services, appointed Dean Watson and Paul Stanley of Begbies Traynor as joint administrators on 19 December 2025. The administrators completed an immediate sale of the business and assets to Trilogy Logistics, with all employees transferring to the purchaser as part of the transaction.

The pre-pack sale allowed Circle Express to continue trading without disruption, with customers serviced as normal and staff paid on time throughout the process. Trilogy Logistics, which provides specialist logistics services to the airfreight industry, said the acquisition brings Circle Express under new ownership with a platform for restructuring and future growth.

The administrators were advised by Browne Jacobsen and Eddisons on the transaction.
