UK Salads Limited - Administration

UK Salads Limited, a Roydon-based major UK producer of salad items, entered administration on 28 February.

Joint administrators Alastair Massey and Glyn Mummery of FRP said “challenging trading conditions” had left the company “unable to meet its financial obligations”.

Approximately 200 staff have been made redundant while the joint administrators consider the options available to the business and explore expressions of interest from a number of parties.

Hitachi Capital (UK) PLC has a registered charge against the company.
