UKCloud Ltd – liquidation

UKCloud Ltd, a public-sector cloud provider, and its parent Virtual Infrastructure Group, were placed into liquidation on 25 October, with the Official Receiver, Gareth Jonathan Allen, appointed as Liquidator, and J Robinson and A M Hudson simultaneously appointed as Special Managers to manage the liquidation process on behalf of the Official Receiver. The company, which was a prominent supplier to government procurement frameworks such as G-Cloud and the government’s Digital Marketplace, previously boasted that it had powered 200 UK public sector projects. Bgf Nominees Limited has two registered charges against the company, and Harbert European Specialty Lending Company II SARL has one.
