Vehicle Conversion Specialists Limited, Treka Bus Limited, WN Vtech Holdings, and certain other entities - Administration

Vehicle Conversion Specialists Limited, a Bradford-based manufacturer of ambulances and police vehicles, Treka Bus Limited, a Brighouse minibus manufacturer, their parent company Bolton-based WN Vtech Holdings, and certain other entities within the group entered administration on 20 November. Daniel Smith and Julian Heathcote of Teneo were appointed joint administrators and stated that, like many companies in the automotive sector, the group has experienced challenges around supply chain issues which have impacted fulfilment of orders and working capital. The joint administrators are continuing to trade the businesses while exploring opportunities for a sale. It is unclear whether any of the approximately 600 employees have been or will be made redundant. Bgf Nominees Limited, Rutland Partners LLP and Glas Trust Corporation Limited as security agent have registered charges against the companies.
