Whyte Crane Services Limited – administration

Whyte Crane Services Limited, which operates from depots in Aberdeen and Grangemouth to provide crane hire and lifting services throughout the UK, entered administration on 26 August. The Company employed 38 staff. It was significantly impacted by the onset of the first COVID-19 lockdown. Despite government support and efforts made by the director to exit unprofitable contracts and reduce overhead, trading losses continued and the Company could no longer service its commitments. Geoff Jacobs and Rick Harrison from Interpath Advisory were appointed joint administrators. Bibby Factors Scotland Limited has a registered charge against the Company.
