Wilko owed £625m when it collapsed, leaving pension fund £50m short

Wilko owed £625 million when it collapsed, including £548 million to unsecured creditors who will receive less than 8% of what they are owed, while secured creditors led by Hilco, owed nearly £40 million, and Barclays Bank, owed £2.4 million, will be repaid in full. More from The Guardian.
