Wok Fun Takeaway Ltd, R&M Takeaway Ltd, and MLK Takeaway Ltd – liquidation

Wok Fun Takeaway Ltd, trading as Mutley Plain’s Wok Fusion; R&M Takeaway Ltd, trading as Welbeck Avenue’s The Dragon House; and MLK Takeaway Ltd, trading as North Hill’s Master Chef, three connected Plymouth-based Chinese takeaway restaurants, have all entered voluntary liquidation. Daniel Ormerod and Lisa Ion of Leonard Curtis were appointed joint liquidators, and have confirmed that they will be exploring any potential asset realisations and communicating with creditors in due course. However, all three of the restaurants reportedly still appear to be open (with one of the companies now reportedly using the name “New Dragon House”), and questions have been raised as to whether the takeaways are operating under the control of new companies which are active.
