Woodford fund administrator Link faces £306m FCA fine
The FCA announced it may fine Link Fund Solutions up to £306m for failing to properly manage liquidity in the now defunct Woodford Equity Income Fund. The regulator made the comments in relation to a $1.7bn takeover bid for Link Group by Toronto-based cloud software firm Dye & Durham, which the FCA approved on the condition Dye & Durham commits to making funds available to meet any redress payments Link Fund Solutions may be required to make.
