Zandra Retail trading as Quiz - Administration

Zandra Retail trading as Quiz, a UK fast fashion retailer, entered administration on 19 February.

The company suffered from the many headwinds plaguing the retail sector, including the cost of living crisis, rising costs and changing consumer habits.

Shortly after the appointment of Gavin Maher and Daniel Smith of Teneo as joint administrators, 42 Quiz stores were purchased out of administration via a pre-pack deal with Orion Retail, a related company. Unfortunately, the deal did not include 23 stores, and about 200 of the company’s 1,500 employees are expected to be made redundant.
