Buckingham’s unsecured creditor claims hit £300m

Rob Parker and Jon Roden of Grant Thornton, administrators of Buckingham Group Contracting since September 2023, report that unsecured creditor claims against the collapsed construction firm have reached £308 million and are expected to rise to £322.9 million, with recoveries considered unlikely three years after its administration, while efforts continue to recover outstanding debts, including a disputed payment from Swindon Borough Council relating to a defective highway project.
